The Trouble with Flying and Other Stories is the third collection of short stories selected from entries to the Margaret River Short Story Competition. 

Fledgling writer from Sydney, Ruth Wyer, is the winner of this year’s competition for her story, The Trouble with Flying. 

The second prize winner is accomplished Western Australian writer,  Bindy Pritchard for her story  Dying

The South West prize is awarded to Rachelle Rechichi for her story My House

The competition has developed a following of accomplished short story writers many of who have won local, national and international awards and have been published in highly regarded publications such as The Best Australian Stories, Island, Overland and Australian Book ReviewTake a look at the pre-release deal - offer ends on April 30th.
