The Joyce Parkes Women's Writers' Prize

The Joyce Parkes Women's Writers' Prize is currently accepting entries. The Prize honours Joyce Parkers, a well-known poet living in WA.

There is a limit of 1000 to 2000 words for prose, fact or fiction. The theme is 'Freedom.'

There is an entry fee of $10.

The first prize is $500 with the winning entry published in the Association's magazine The Journal and on their website.

All entries should be posted to: Writers' Prize, Australian-Irish Heritage Association, PO Box 1583, Subiaco WA 6904

Entries close 31 August 2017. This prize is open to Australian women only.
