The Bath Short Story Award 2017

The fifth year of the International Bath Short Story Award is now open and closes for entries on Monday May 1st, 2017, midnight BST (British Summer Time).

This year, the shortlist judge is Euan Thorneycroft, Senior Literary Agent at A M Heath.

There is a £1400 prize fund, which will be split up as follows:

  • First prize: £1000
  • Second prize: £200
  • Third prize: £100
  • £50 for the local prize in vouchers (donated by Mr B's Emporium of Books, Bath)
  • £50 for the Acorn Award for an unpublished writer

Entries are welcome from around the globe for any writer aged sixteen years and over.

Fee entry of £8 per entry. Payment is via paypal or as a paypal guest with any card.

The word limit is 2200 words.

Winning and shortlisted stories will be published in their yearly anthology.
