State Library of Victoria Fellowships - applications now open!

Found in: News

Do you have a creative project or idea that could use the Library’s collection in innovative ways? Apply now for a State Library Victoria fellowship.

The State Library and its partners are offering 15 fellowships, collectively worth up to $237,000. Among these are specialist fellowships in children’s literature, digital media, visual arts, contemporary art, social history, World War I history and Ukrainian studies.

Applications are now open for artists, performers, filmmakers, writers, composers and any other creative individuals to tap into the State Library’s rich collections through its annual Fellowships program.

Past fellowships have produced major exhibitions, public art installations, documentaries, books, graphic novels, plays, musical scores, interactive games and many other creative projects.

A fellowships information night will be held at 6pm on Tuesday 28 February 2017 at State Library Victoria. Interstate applicants should visit the link below for fellowship details and contact the Library directly if they require further information.

Applications close on Sunday 23 April 2017.
