Lower View seeking submissions from young writers

Found in: News

Brisbane-based Lower View is currently seeking submissions from young writers. This journal aims to stand as a platform for young writers with the hopes of fostering a wave of new literary voices and a community to share such talent.

They’re open to all types of stories from writers of all different experience levels. Get in contact with them if you’d like to be published, or, if you’re just looking for feedback on a story that you’re working on. To the artists, editors, designers, readers, or administrators out there; any skills you’d like to share with Lower View in the hopes of joining this community, drop them a line.

Beyond a 5000 word limit, there really are no rules here. Submit anything; writers and administrators will discuss cosmetic edits, then, the piece will be published for you to share with your friends, family and community. Want it published somewhere else? Simply let them know, they’ll take it off the site, and wish you the best with your future writing endeavors.

At the end of the day, they just hope the experience will offer some form of help, be it communion, a platform for your release, or just a test for your future publishing. Lower View is yours for what you wish.
