Kimberley writers are invited to submit short story and poetry writing to the Kimberley Writers Prize 2015.

Aiming to help raise literacy levels across the Kimberley and raise awareness of the written arts in the region, the competion is an opportunity to stimulate the imagination of writers and give them a voice in the field of literature.

There are three categories: Adult, High School and Primary.

Adult

  • Story: 3000 word limit. 1st prize $500
  • Poetry: No word limit. 1st prize $500

High School

  • Story: 1000 word limit. 1st prize $200
  • Poetry: No word limit. 1st Prize $200

Primary School

  • Story: 500 word limit. 1st prize $100
  • Poetry: No word limit. 1st Prize $100
