Found in: News

Our next episode of Cover to Cover will be a great one to watch with your friends or book club.

We invite you to arrange an event to watch it together at your home, CRC or local library - then tell us about it!

This month our guest author is Fiona Palmer who lives in the tiny town of Pingaring in the Wheatbelt area of Western Australia.  She writes rural fiction with romantic elements.

In this interview Fiona discusses her latest book, 'The Saddler Boys' (Penguin Australia) with host Meri Fatin.  She also discusses her road to becoming a successful published author, the challenges of fitting her writing in around her farm work and family responsibilities, and the many challenges facing rural communities.  Fiona is on numerous community committees and is also a reference group member of the Rural Remote and Regional (RRR) Women's Network of Western Australia.  Her authentic stories are inspired by her country life and incorporate down-to-earth characters, outback landscapes and topical issues.
