Black&write! Fellowships: Call for Entries

Found in: News

If you are a deadly creative writer, it’s time to get pen to paper or fingertips to keyboard because black&write! is now accepting applications for the 2018 Writing Fellowship Program.

All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander authors are invited to enter State Library of Queensland’s national black&write! writing competition with your novel, short story collection, poetry collection or children’s book manuscript.

Two winners will each receive:

  • $10,000 prize money
  • Manuscript development with black&write!’s editors at SLQ
  • Publishing opportunity with Hachette Australia

Published and unpublished Indigenous writers – this is your chance to be a part of a growing community of writers, illustrators and editors.

Entries close 31 January 2018.

Visit the website to view entry guidelines and entry form here.
