Let your imagination run wild because the Tim Winton Award for Young Writers is back!
If you know a young, budding wordsmith with a great tale to tell, then it's time to get them started. The City of Subiaco is calling Western Australian students aged five to eighteen and in school years one to twelve, to submit a story in this creative writing award.
Entries must be an original fiction story no more than 2000 words in length.
The judges are looking for entries that show originality in their theme and concept, excellent story development and high quality writing. This award encourages innovation, creativity and imagination, so don't hold back.
To enter, upload your story when submissions open on Monday 13 June.
