$1.3m in National Regional Arts Funding Grants

Found in: News

Great news for regional arts in Western Australia! Minister for the Arts George Brandis today officially announced $1.3 million in national Regional Arts Funding grants, and we're delighted to say that writingWA is one of the recipients. Our application for $150,000 over three years to employ a Regional Engagement Officer has been successful. The officer will provide programming advice and support for regional writers festivals, and build support for regional literature.

84 arts projects have been funded under the Australian Government’s Regional Arts Fund Community Grants Program.

The Regional Arts Fund is administered by Regional Arts Australia and its member network of regional arts organisations in states and territories.
