- The Main Event – in the Library - Saturday 9th SEP
Throughout the day the Library will be host to a variety of author talks, panel events, storytelling and Kimberley Writers Festival’s first ever comedy slam. See Event Calendar for details. From 9am @ Kununurra School and Community Library. Free events. No bookings required.
- Tura New Music – The Echo Tour - Saturday 9th SEP
The Echo Tour brings together three of Australia’s leading indigenous performers, Bart Willoughby, Mark Atkins and Stephen Pigram with an ensemble of some of Australia’s finest instrumentalists creating a vibrant and uniquely Australian sound. 9th @ 7pm @ Picture Gardens. - Literary Brunch Cruise on the Ord River - Sunday 10th SEP
The highlight of the Kimberley Writers Festival, the Triple J Tours and Ord Valley Roadhouse Champagne Brunch Cruise is not to be missed. Cruise down the lower Ord River to Triple J’s Echo Point Camp for a glass of bubbles and brunch before listening to our guests read from their books and tell stories from their lives. 10th Depart 7.15am from Celebrity Tree Park Jetty, Return at 11.30am. $85 pp. Bookings essential. - Sharing our Stories – Once Upon a Time - Sunday 10th SEP
Listen to the Kununurra stories of our elders, those who have always belonged, and those who made this their country. 10th @ 11.45 am @ Celebrity Tree Park Gazebo Free Event. Bring a picnic or just come and listen.
