Regional Writers Festivals Around WA

The word is spreading - Western Australia is home to some of the most exciting regional writers festivals in the country.

On an annual basis, celebrated authors, musicians, songwriters, illustrators and storytellers share their knowledge, expertise and love of the written and spoken word with enthusiastic audiences from Kununurra in the far north, to Margaret River in the south.

Each of these festivals has its own distinctive flavor, and each draws significantly on the unique characteristics of the environment in which it takes place.

For more information and programme details for each of the key writers festivals funded by writingWA click on the tabs to the right of screen.

writingWA invests in WA’s regional writers festivals with funding provided by the WA Departments of Culture and the Arts and Regional Development and Royalties for Regions.
